WHAT I DO

I have been practising Pilates and Yoga as well as general fitness for over 20 years. My background is in classical ballet as well as gym / fitness training. I also enjoy calisthenics, martial arts, climbing, dancing and anything else that engages my body and mind. My passion for Pilates started as a result of a severe back injury – it helped me rehabilitate my body and come back to full fitness after many years of chronic pain. 

I have experienced in myself and the clients I work with that Pilates is a great, effective and enjoyable all-body workout suitable for any skill level, age, size and background that can really transform people’s quality of life, increase their strength, flexibility, mobility, posture and body awareness and improve mood and energy levels dramatically. 

Pilates skills and techniques are transferable to everyday tasks, and help participants lead a truly happier, healthier life. Seeing people from all walks of life enjoying movement, progressing with every session and benefitting from exercise in and outside of class is a true joy, and being able to inspire and help them to reach their goals and pass on my passion for exercise is a real joy and honour. 

My style is energetic but calm (yes, that is possible as a combination!), with a strong focus on the mind-body connection across all forms of exercise and on making exercise enjoyable and rewarding as well as challenging.
